Springs Pilates
Springs Pilates strives to provide a comfortable, informative and positive experience for each participant where individual attention is the rule, not the exception.
Developed more than 80 years ago, Pilates focuses on improving flexibility while strengthening the body. It is designed to elongate the muscles, strengthen the core (abdomen, low back and buttocks) and allow the rest of the body to move independently. Pilates is a complete Mind-Body-Spirit exercise experience incorporating six principles:
- Concentration
- Control
- Centering
- Precision
- Flow
- Breath
GYROTONIC® combines the basic principles of gymnastics, swimming, ballet and yoga with emphasis on spiraling and circular movement. This exercise is ideal for all fitness levels by providing a gentle movement pattern for post rehabilitation or arthritic clients or a challenging workout for the athlete. It is ideal for rotational sports like golf, tennis or skating.
Peak Golf Fitness
Does your swing improve or degrade as you near the 18th hole?
An average golfer takes more than 300 swings including practice shots during an 18-hole round. Golfers who improve their flexibility and strengthen their muscles can prevent injuries and improve their scores. At Peak Golf Fitness we build strength and flexibility simultaneously. You will develop core strength, increased mobility, better stability, improved posture and alignment. These are all elements needed for a great swing.
Our program features an individualized 12-week conditioning program designed to help you hit the ball farther and straighter with reduced risk of injury and back pain. Weekly sessions involve evaluation, studio workout and home exercises with an emphasis on posture, breathing, stability, mobility, balance, control, coordination and flexibility in all ranges of motion.
